The majority of Nike Air Jordans on eBay are Fake...

EVERY JORDAN from 1-23 have a FAKE and sometimes the FAKES come out before the original. 

Don't be a SUCKER !!!

I'm writing this guide to hepl people know the difference between real (Authentic) J's  and Fake (Variant) pieces of garbage.

Why would I do this?

Not that I care if you want to wear fake shoes, I'm trying to help prevent you from buying something that you thought was authentic. Fake manufacturers care nothing about the performance / quality of the shoes the only care about making a product that closely resembles that of the original.  If your NEW J's fall apart after 2 weeks or you hurt yourself... YOU are S.O.L...... 

Lets Begin... Before you BID / BUY

First Rule......... If it seem too good to be true, then it is...  ALWAYS follow this rule...

Do your research. Check completed items, and see what the average "higher selling" price was...  If your pair is selling BRAND NEW for 1/3 of that price... Refer to the first rule

STOCK PHOTOS are a dead giveaway... NO Authentic seller would use these photos...  Always check to see if the sellers name  (eBay id) is in the photo...  Many Authentic sellers don't just Photoshop their name into the picture (as anyone could do this with a stolen picture) their NAME is usually on a piece of paper next to the shoes...

Websites that you can trust...

If the seller has GOOD pictures of the shoes, you can go to www air-jordans com and compare the shoes.

Always ask the seller for pictures of : 

• The Inside tag
• Front / back
• Side profile
• and the sole

I recommend joining a NIKE / JORDAN forum  such as www niketalk com or www instyleshoes com  their you can ask members if the shoes are AUTHENTIC or if "this seller is legit? "... Some of the people on these forums are VERY knowledgable and will give you reasons that they are FAKE (i.e cut / shape / color / leather type and other useful info)  BUT PLEASE READ THE RULES OF EACH FORUM before you post.  As many will frown upon posting links to live auctions.

Check the sellers other items... and their feedback.  Although this can also be misleading, because sometimes the seller other shoes might appear to be authentic or their feedback may be artifically high or their previous customers were not as smart as you.... Always use your best judgement and refer to rule #1.

NOW you are smarter......... and can make a MORE educated purchase
