( I had wanted to purchase a set of "headers" for my vehicle, so I searched E-Bay. I came across Scottys Speed Shop, after numerous e-mails explaining my specific application, I entered the "BUY IT NOW ".
I sent a money order to his address by UPS in Florida ( an additional cost of $35) and my address in Michigan ( as I live in Canada and he refused to ship here)
Not only did Scottys Speed Shop cash my money order, HE stated that HE made a mistake on the cost and required an additional $10 BEFORE he would ship my headers.
I refused as I used the "BUT IT NOW" option which I thought was "legal binding contract" so I made many compaints to E-Bay, but that was about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine !!
I always looked at the number of transactions and feedback, but in my case that backfired !
Not only was I "scammed" by Scottys Speed Shop, E Bay policies are nothing more than a joke !!
