First time I bought a 3rd generation iPod I thought I made a awesome deal. Now I thought an iPod was just that an iPod, ok just like a used car you must check things out before you buy. But it's kinda hard when you live in Canada in a prairie province and this iPod is coming from the East coast. No way to test drive it. I won the iPod, gave it to my niece for her 12th birthday only to find out after recharging it didnt work properly. So I advised my sister to take it to the geek patrol at BestBuy. The person there who checked it out through told me that even in sending it through the mail wouldnt harm it in anyway,It was so screwed up, you couldnt even play the songs already on there, they also said that I advise you to think before buying a 3rd generation, and whoever sold this to you just conned you. Stick to the new one's and hope you can get a better deal. Because I paid for it through Paypal, you're chances of recovering your money you stand a better chance with them than with someone who doesnt have pp. I've been with ebay.ca (Canada) for a quite awhile and this was the first time this happened and hopefully the last time to. It's hard to tell when you look at things to know whether anything is real anymore. EBAY and PAYPAL are really great companys to deal with, without Paypal your on your own.
