From Toronto, CHUM charts (record surveys) began in 1957 with the first 26 being large 8x11 charts. Thereafter, they were 5 x 8 (appox.). Charts without ink or tears are considered to be in good condition. Ink marks, tears etc seriously devalue the chart for collectors. Generally, common, individual charts are worth $3. - $5. each depending on age, condition, and any pixs associated with the cover.  Newer charts (1970's) are less sought after and therefore less valuable.  Value usually depends on what recording artist's picture is on the chart, the date and condition of the chart.   Unique or special charts may fetch higher prices. During the 1958-1968 era, upwards of 50,000 charts were published weekly so there are still many in private hands. Charts without pixs of recording stars are less valuable as they are not usually sought after by fans of specific recording artists.  The chart design changed in 1969 and the newer charts, slightly taller, slimmer  and numbered, are more common and less valuable.  The individual pocket CHUM charts ended in 1975 and were then published in the local Toronto newspapers until 1986.

When listing charts on ebay,  stating the date and the chart's condition are the more important aspects of the listing.  Combining a few charts in one listing  and pricing them realistically will increase the chances of successful bidding.
