I've been a geologist and involved in paleontology for several decades.  One could say I'm almost a fossil myself

Warning:  do not buy fossils from China.  They are mostly FAKES and made to deceive despite descriptions to the contrary.   It is illegal to export fossils from China and the only reason these fraudsters are not arrested is because they are not sending real fossils out of the country.  Even if the fossils (such as Keichousaurus, et.) come from outside China then they are FAKES being passed along. Even folks who were duped often would rather not know they were duped

The dino eggs are fake.  The reptile impressions are fake.  Many other fossils are composites passed along deceitfully.  It is a wonder than Ebay allows these sellers to continue to con buyers.  Do a search on Google for fake chinese fossils and your eyes will be opened.

In contrast there are several excellent fossil sellers on Ebay who are very knowlwdgeable and take pride in their integrity and find pleasure in helping others get specimens at a reasonable cost.
