)To many of us that watched this hit to be a one night movie night wonder, to 25 + years later a cult smash has to have hits. It's not easy to find the product, However if you keep an eye open to see that there is listings to this title world wide it is still unmarkable to see. Donna Wilkes as we all know plays the young 15 year old Molly by day, Angel-Hooker by night. Leaves us with a tale that is breath taking till this day. As we see all to much of this is our everyday world. I think personally that this is why Angel 1 with Wilkes is still a classic.
As its rare to find a movie set in this area of time, to make it a forever need to have or see hit. As being need to have to have in all our collection it is the set, the acting, to the real life events told to our faces. As said each actor brings there story to unfold in this hit for many due, that this is one of the latest films some actors are seen in. Such as Rory Aka Cowboy Rip, Dick Shawn as Mae Rip, Andrews Rip. As it is not just the actors who left us with a fond real life not ment to be film. For we have Tyrell to leave a mark in her carrer in this hit. However it is all to known we all connect to Wilkes in this cult clasic. Wilkes personally did one on one with girls while of set to interview and see what it is really like to play Angel. Wilkes is well Known for her work in many sets "Jaws 2" Hello Larry and much more. For Angel Is what made Wilkes still known to the day for her roll in Angel. She really is a hard worker, dedicated 200 % of her role in this film.
Wilkes" set sail in this film. As now a box set that follows Angel 2- Aka Avenging Angel with Betsy Russell as our new Molly/Angel. Then yet another Molly/Angel played in Angel 3 the final chapter by Mitzi Capture. As it is hard to place each girl as Angel nor Molly in each roll but comedy! As rummor is Wilkes wanted to much to play the roll, So they then hired other girls. To bad as it is Angel with Wilkes that brings this collection to even sell. As we thought there was no more Angels to be made we got a shock when another Angel/Molly showed up played this time by a blonde named Darlene Vogel "Farscape". Sadly to say the Films of Angel and faces of Molly just went downhill really after Avenging Angel With Russell who is now known best for her roll in ( Saw As Jill).
So I must say if your looking for the fist hit then wait and keep trying to find it on Ebay as a collector of the fims mainly 1 I find myself finding it often. As there is always the set called "The Angel Collection" Only to have 3 of the 4 films in it. As rumor has it Angel 4 Undercover was not to be apart of the Angel series for somehow did. As well Angel 4 is not on dvd only vhs. I say buy it if you dare but over all the 5 stars got to Donna Wilkes in Angel 1 along with the rest of the crew.
