( I purchased a Dyson DC14 Complete on Ebay. To my dismay I am finding I purchased a piece of crap! Dirt collectes in the soleplate/brushbar compartment and is not sucked up into the collection bin. It also was advertised with an EXTRA lifetime filter which I never recieved and can not get the seller to respond to my emails. Supposedly it has a 6 mo. warranty, but I don't know how to redeem it. There were no instructions on how to do so.
It appears to me that, after careful inspection of the unit, that there is a hose (or some type of connection) missing between the soleplate/brushbar compartment and the motor unit. About 5 to 6 inches of empty space exist between the two so... no suction is happening.
I think I'll go back to Hoover!
