Hey Gang - I am a disabled record addicted, impulse buyer who frequently loses all control over my buying habits as I must have more records!! I do not worry about bank accounts or bills, i just buy and pay and get more records. AND, SOMETIMES I SELL SOME......
I sell only the best of what i find and my favorite genres are from 1943 to 1975 then I jumped from 1979 to 83 and then again to 1990 to present. BEATLES, OASIS, PSYCHEDELICS AND ODDITIES, that's what I sell the most of. I do my very best to grade extremely closely to perfectly by PLAY RATING 95% of all I sell. I also give visual ratings...it's odd, but you seem to get more hassles from buyers of play rated music than you do from visually rated pieces. You can visualize it all wrong and get no guff, get a aural review even the slightest, tiniest bit off from the subjective listening of a buyer who may have a piece of crap stereo and no idea how to use it, and he'll make your life a living hell. Most of my buyers are very well into it as well and understand that we all hear things differently....to an extent, so I don't get much problems with my stuff. Most of us are cheap though, and most buyers do not insure and if something happens it's still all MY FAULT and that is a show of shear stupidity as far as I am concerned.
Take your buying seriously, but understand that I am not perfect, but I am honest and polite until I am pushed by an angry combatant for no good reason. SO BE NICE, AND IT'LL ALL BE OK.
I'VE TOLD EVERYONE WHO WOULD LISTEN EVER SINCE THE BIRTH OF THE CD, NOT TO SELL THEIR RECORDS BECAUSE VINYL WILL NEVER GO AWAY. THEY DID NOT BELIEVE ME....WELL, I TOLD YOU SO! RECORDS ARE WHERE ITS AT BABY!! SO HAVE FUN AND REST ASSURED THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS GET A FAR DEAL FROM ME.
