This is a very short guide for new Ebay buyers. Wish I had one when I started...
Need just a little boost to get started? I've been buying on Ebay for 2 years now, and have a few tips to help you along.
First, make sure the item you are bidding on doesn't have outrageous shipping. If it isn't listed, email the seller to ask before you bid.
Second, look for the Paypal buyer protection logo in the "Seller Information" box if you are paying with Paypal. Ebay has buyer protection also, and both are free, but have time limits.
Third, remember to check the Seller's Ebay feedback score. Check out the comments of their buyers if you aren't sure.
Fourth, set a maximum price on the item you want to bid on, and don't go over that bid.
Fifth, ask all the questions you need to about item size, color, or anything else before you bid.
Sixth, and last, don't bid until the last few minutes - you may ending up paying more than you need to if you do.
Good luck Newbies!
