Elmo craze! : eBay Guides

Hi Folks!

Here in Sudbury,Ontario,Elmo has caused quite a ruccus to say the least. All stores are sold out and not expecting any till the new year. A very small shipment has made its way to the only Walmart here, but, had to keep them in the stock room for security reasons. Only the ones that would ask for one would get any, and limited to only two per customer.The french Elmo was available for a very short while longer than the english counterpart, but then sold out very quickly.Now that the truth is out,and no more shipments are coming, Ebay will see the little furry friend sky rocket in price.Keeping a close watch on Elmo myself,I have seen some go for as high as $280.00 already,and it is just the biggining of what will seem like record high sales in the next few weeks.So,people,get them now while the price is still somewhat low. I've been keeping track of the postings,and to give you a general idea of what is going on,read the followinf information I have gathered since September 29th. On Sept. 29th ,there were approx. 5400 listings for the little red furry guy,and as of this morning, being October 22nd, there were 1574 listings at the time that I wrote this little tidbit of information. Do the math folks,that is a difference of approx. 3900, just to round it off. At this rate, none will be available come the end of November. So, if you're going to get an Elmo, I would suggest to get one very soon.
