We love the 3-D look of epoxy stickers for scrapbooking - they're great on album covers and 3-D pages.  But they can be expensive and sometimes you just can't find the right stickers to match your project.  To fix this, we learned to make our own.

1) Cut out the image or designs that you want to use - just keep in mind you will still need to use photo safe products as the back of the project will be touching your album.  If you want them to be sticky on the back, you can run them through a Xyron machine, but we find it is more cost effective to just use an acid free adhesive later.

2) Use a temporary adhesive (such as the Zig 2-way glue or something similar) to affix the item to waxed paper, image side up, and set the wax paper on something firm that they can dry on safely.  If you are using a sticker, you won't need to use the adhesive.

3) Apply Diamond Glaze very slowly to the top of your item - outlining it first and then filling it in with the Diamond Glaze.  Be careful to keep product on your stickers.  It's fairly thick but run-off can still occur - if it does, do not touch it.  Just allow it to dry and trim it off afterwards.  As an alternative, you can use any 3 diminsional adhesive but we have found Diamond Glaze to be the best because it seems to build up the most.  Gently pop any air bubbles that may appear on your stickers with a needle.  Give it plenty of time to dry - about a day.  When it is dry, the diamond glaze will be clear.  Once dry, remove from the wax paper and trim any spills away.  Your "sticker" is ready to apply to your album!
