Today i was browsing through the ebay listings for size 12 air jordan xx3 shoes and i couldnt belive how many fakes were being sold.

I dont have a problem with the sellers who sell fakes just the sellers who sell fakes and say that they are authentic i found a handfull of sellers with fakes saying they were authentic and i called them out. I dont know if its ignorance or if they think that they can get away with it i couldnt tell you, but heres some ways to spot the fakes.

First ask to see the size sticker on the box, the fakes say AIR JORDAN 23 or AIR JORDAN 23 RETRO , the authentic jordans say AIR JORDAN XX3 with the retail price tab on the end.

Check the prices, if you see a pair of blue titanium jordans cheap they are fakes becuse the titanium jordans retailed at $1000.00. also if you see them with a price of say 150.00 or less i would ask questions before i bought becuse authentic jordans retail for 185.00 so how is a seller going to make a profit by selling below retail?

Look closely at the colors, i saw a pair that looked authentic but the colors of the "23" and jumpman on the tounges were a different color than the authentic jordans.

Look at the cd that comes with the shoe, the fakes come with a cd in a cd sleeve authentic jordan cds do not come in sleeves.

Check the shape of the shoe, if it looks kind of boxy shaped its fake.

Go to sites that sell authentic shoes and compare the shoes and then you will see the differnce in the fakes and authentics.

If the auction doesnt say authentic then they are more than likely fake. but like i said i found a few that said authentic and they are indeed fakes. So look closely and ask for more pictures before you buy it now.

Check for auctions with fuzzy pics or stock pics becuse what they do is they post stock pics of authentics and send you fakes. ALSO SCAMMERS WILL TAKE PICS OF AUTHENTIC JORDANS AND SEND YOU FAKES SO WATCH FOR THIS TOO.

I found that most of the sellers with recipts are selling authentic jordans.

If a seller has a pile of jordans they are fake becuse how can you have 20 pairs of sold out jordans if you dont own a shoe store. Gimmie a break

Get online and search for jordans and its sites where you can buy replicas for 99.00 and you can buy them wholesale these sites say they sell replicas so you know they arent authentic.

Dont get scammed research before you buy i saw a fake pair of jordans on here starting bid of 200.00. thats an outrageous price for a piece of plastic.
