DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM

There are several people hi-jacking names of eBayers accounts and selling very high priced "top of the line" GPS systems

A recent listing showed a Garmin 530 system that is quite new to the aviation world and sells for over $12,000.00.

These listings appear with NO RESERVE and are selling out after bidding closes for about one third the real value.

You may receive a SECOND CHANCE NOTICE even if you are the winning bidder.  Or receive these notices if you bid on an illegitimate listing.

You are then prompted to pay for the item via Western Union ( or some other direct form of payment) as the bogus seller does not accept PAYPAL.

Look at the sellers history (account being used) and you will note they have minimal sales and are all low dollar transactions.  Just ask yourself what is an eBayer that sells clothing or collectibles doing with a state of the art GPS that belongs in a million dollar aircraft.  Well the answer is simple... IT IS A SCAM!!!

If you find such items available at offers that seem to good to be true.. you can alert eBay, however the internet fraud authorities are far more effective at preventing these crimes and protecting the community from such predators.

Hope this helps your awareness, and keeps all your transactions safe and enjoyable.
