Based on years of marine experience, I have no doubt that Shark has designed an excellent line of inflatable boats and the prices are unbelievable taking into consideration the high quality of the boats. I was pleasantly surprised and highly impressed with the quality of this good looking boat from Shark. Having been with the Coast Guard for many years, I have used alot of boats, including inflatable boats, in many different seagoing conditions, including search and rescue. Having used and owned many different inflatable boats such as, Zodiac inflatable boats, Mercury Quicksilver, Avion and Achilles inflatables just to mention a few, the quality, construction and handling of the Shark inflatable boat is equivalent or superior to even the most expensive inflatable boats. The fiberglass aluminum interlock deck system is outstanding and, combined with the inflatable keel, the Shark inflatable manoeuvres with a very stable, solid ride much like a search and rescue RIB boat. By my comparisons, this boat has the highest Coast Guard outboard motor rating and load capacity in its size and class. I was able to buy this excellent inflatable boat and a very good outboard motor combination from Shark for less money than just the comparable boat only I had considered buying. In fact, I am quite convinced that I prefer the Shark Inflatable Boat for many reasons, including the good service provided. I hope this information is valuable to those looking to buy an inflatable boat.
