I have been on Ebay about a year. Between selling and buying I have found this to be true.
I want that perfect plant. I dont want to sit at the computer all day searching everything there is. So heres what I have found helpful
When you click on the picture that you want to see there is down at the bottom of the page a ticker tape of other products people look at, These are helpful because if you hit the "See Suggestions" button , most often then not just those types of plants come up. This way you put the other plants in between out of the picture. Its a way to scan thru faster.
Also make sure to read the reviews on the seller. I have bought several things at least to learn that if it's advertised huge im thinking semi... However if you go to the name of the seller and read the comments left by other customers then you will know if this is so. I should have used this a few times, when I buy a bulb I expecdt a fair sized bulb, not BB's. I see that customer #1 wrote "Well wonderful send time but the bulbs are small." If I see this a few times I move along. The audiaunce is the one telling the truth, so I go with them. If I see, "Man your shipping time is slow but WOW huge bulbs thankx". The more often then not I have stopped searching and will buy. Im not in a huge hurry if Im buying on line though it to is important.
Last I check for how they are as status. I mean if they are new sellers they are very eager so they usually get it done soon , Not always true.. Im usually not spending alot but if I were I would look next to the name at the number of things they have transacted. The stars and numbers tell us that they have sold or bought these things. Its even in the site that they bought or sold and what it was. This way your surer that your prize 75.00 roses wont get lost in shuffle. Its important to feel comfertable when sending your money to one of the sellers, knowing its going to the stuff that you bought
And last always communicate with the person selling. If you have a question then ask. I want to know more about my product, so I ask. It's not ofte but things do get left out of the listing, like zones and prefer's (what the plants needs are). So keep yourself from making any mistakes as well by asking. It's always important to make sure that if you are buying a live plant that the company you get it from is as far away as the plant is to water again. So remember make sure that you are checking all the important things. I would spend a few more pennys to get the good stuff.. It's your money....
Have fun with Ebay.... Good Luck!!!!
