Don't you hate it when you purchase something online and it does not fit. You grabbed the tape measure and measured your waist hips bust ect and you are sure you have measured good but it just doesn't fit. The thing that has worked best fot me is to grab my favorite shirt, pant, skirt out of my closset and measure them ,avoid using stretch items in your closet as the measurement garment. I put these measurements by my computer and compare them against item measurements I am considering purchasing. On pants measure the inseam, rise , hips, waist. So when you are looking at the pant online you are comparing the same cut if all these measurements match not just hip and waist measurements. Do you have problems with big or small thighs, measure the thigh on those pants and compare them . If the seller does not have the measurement listed as for it. Any problem area can be measured. Use the same measureing principles for any garment you have to help you find other great fits. You will also find you will spend much less time in store dressing rooms and being disapointed if you carry these measurements on your next shopping trip with a tape measure.
