I've been wearing Magli shoes for 25 years. I follow one simple rule, when buying Magli on line always ask to see the soles of the shoes, if they do not sport the Magli trademark embossed into the sole I stay away. Labels inside the shoe are easy and cheap to duplicate. the Magli signature "serif M" is distinctive, it's also expensive to reproduce. In most instances dealers who knowingly are selling fakes will not respond, those who have sent a picture, as requested, usually have the genuine article.
