1. Ensure you have a SIM card in the phone
2. Press BlackBerry button on the phone
3. Go to "Manage Connections"
4. Click on "Turn All Connections Off"
5. Go back to the main menu
6. Go to "Options"
7. Click on "Advance Options"
8. Click on "SIM Card"
9. Type "MEPD" (letters will not appear on the screen but a menu will pop up)
10. Type "MEP2" (you will be prompted to enter MEP code)
11. Enter the unlock code provided to you
12. "Code Accepted" confirmation will appear
13. Device is now unlocked!
12. Reboot Device

15. Click on "Restore Connections"
