I sit here ten years later.  Shaking my head abashedly and looking carefully around the house.  I want to make sure my spouse has left and I am all onto myself.  My last eBay experience was far from terrible.  I did get what I wanted at least.  The picture was as described, and I paid for a beautifully padded bubble envelope #0.

I am surely more prepared.  I have a handy notebook where I have marked next to checks exactly the steps I need to purchase the items I desire with no surprises.

Bring up my FireFox browser.  Click my bookmark link to eBay.  Glare at the search bar willing it, or any of eBay's hidden powers to guide me in my endeavors to find the perfect item for the perfect price.  I won't be duped, I won't be padded, & I certainly won't miss the lies of omission.  First search of the day.  DVD lot personal collection.  101 items found.  Okay here goes...taking a deep breath I click into each deal, checking the list twice.  CHECK:  Lies of omission  CHECK: Padded Shipping  ....was there anything else?

Not that I can remember.  I see a well written very professional eBay auction from username waytoo2goodtobetrue.  The entire auction is set up with scrolling pictures of the movies included.   An exact list of what you are going to get for movies.  The shipping cost, more then acceptable.

There is a link on the page for a shopping cart to purchase a lot bulk immediately VIA there secure online site!  The price is the same and the items are indentical.  Wait the two days for the auction to end or go offsite to purchase it immediately?  HALT WAIT STOP!!  Thinking this one through, I decided safety is of the utmost so I would stay onsite.  eBay offers these pretty assurances and support for scammers.  Including the ability to look up how trustworthy this eBayer is.  Well well.  Look at that underlying currents.

I place my first bid in ten years and wait with abated breath.  One day passes.  No further interest.  Two days and hours go by and we are near closing time.  The current for 21 DVD's personal lot is 105.00.  Most of them are new releases and I am quite happy about this.  The last minutes are hitting now and I see a quick bid.  115.00.  I counter with a bid for 121.00, hoping they bid 120.00 and I am as crafty as I feel.  145.00.  I get very leery and do the math in my head as to if this is a good way to gain a profit from this.

Then I decide to investigate a little further.  I have paid too much twice in two experiences.  I click into their profile again.  It appears ipadbidsformoney has won a half a dozen auctions by this person already.  I skip on to the next auctions...patting myself on the back.  It's all about patience.
