Acouple of months ago I was into collecting video games. And I finally figures out if my item was Resealed or Factory Sealed? First of all I HATE stock photos, don't you. You don't get to SEE what your buying? Second ask questions about your item.
Ok say you look up Final Fantasy 8 or 9 for PS1 and more that likley it will be a stock photo and it will say something like this "Final Fantasy 8 New Sealed" for ONLY $20 or $30 bucks. THIS is a resealed game and also don't forget to ask questions. Also you can tell if the seller has like 10 or 20 games for sell that are the same. How can you tell if it's a Resealed when I recive it. Well look up and down the sides of the case and you will see something like a line around the case and the corners of the sealed will be hard. And if it's an older game it should have a hangtab on the back and a Sony white strip across the top. BUT some resealed games do have the white Sony strip but not the hang tab.
If you look up other games and it say either Factory Sealed, Sealed, Brand New these are more than likely to be Factory sealed. And MOST sellers who sell Factory Sealed games use there own photos. But be sure to read the title of the item, ask lots of questions, read the description, and look at the price. How can I tell if it's Factory Sealed? MOST Factory Sealed games have a white Sony strip across the top and a hang tab on the back. But the newer games from like I reckon 5 or 6 years ago and todays games DO NOT have a white Sony strip or a hang tab. Also look at the top of the game {or bottom} and look at the left or right corner and the seal should look a V shaped like.
Just remeber if it say's NEW SEALED it's more than likely a resealed game.
Thanks for reading, hope this helps.
