Magic Jack and Skype : eBay Guides

I am using both Skype and Magic Jack and I haven't had any serious problems with either one. Magic Jack has worked well and I have had no problems plugging in other phones, although I mostly use the headset on my computer. That goes for Skype as well.

I am using WindowsXP and Magic Jack work well with it but when I tried plugging in the MagicJack into my daughter's Vista computer I had problems even after downloading the Vista upgrade!

Most of the time both Skype and MagicJack work well but the odd time either one will have intermittent reception. I don't know if it is the computer itself or not. In this regard I have had more problems with Skype than MagicJack. Skype has come along way over the years and MagicJack has also improved since I got it in May of this year.

I would recommend both but MagicJack is cheaper over the long haul....$40.00 for the box and $50.00 for 5 years ($10.00 a year) if you buy them together, otherwise $20 a year.
