RV pre-purchase inspection : eBay Guides

I purchased a C class motorhome from a party in New York state.  The ad had said needed TLC and that the generator worked.  Not knowing anything much about motorhomes i brought my newly acquired unit home to Canada.  I stored it for the winter and began the task of carrying out the TLC it needed.  Well So far I have to replace the entire floor on the drivers side front to back.  The black holding tank leaks and therefore needs replacing.  This unit requires major, major renovations. I might mention the generator does not run as the ad stated.  Now I know why the people were so nice to me.

PAY TO GET AN INSPECTION BY A QUALIFIED RV TECH.

I would have walked away from this FANTASTIC DEAL.
