This GUIDE will help you to understand better the STAMP COLLECTING LANGUAGE.

Alphabetically, I will be listing words used on eBay and throughout the stamp collecting world,
so that you may be able to better enjoy the WORLD'S BEST HOBBY.

However, I need your help!
(Rather than simply placing words/terms/abbreviations, which I use daily,
I will be adding words which you the ebay stamp collectors want explained.

Therefore, this GUIDE, is a work-in-progress!!!

Previously, I have written GUIDES regarding ABBREVIATIONS, that are used on eBay.
A to K ABBREVIATIONS

L to Z ABBREVIATIONS
but, when I looked today, I could not find a GUIDE for stamp terms,
so I decided to help the eBay COMMUNITY, by spreading my knowledge obtained over the past 50 years.

These are stamps that are issued for use over an extended period of time by the Post Office.
They are plentiful and usually very inexpensive.
They are also known, as common stamp .
They are often in what is know as a small format size-wise.
The values are usually from 1c to $20.00 or more.
They may be issued over an extended period of time.
Some U.S. series are issued over many, many years.
Numerous COILS, issued in rolls of 100 are also known as definitive issues.
