I recently moved to Asia and realize many Sellers overprice their international shipping costs. Knowing full well how much postage cost WHEN the item arrives at the destination, shouldn't the seller be more honest or take more care into finding out the real cost of shipping for an item? Similar items shipped from the US can vary greatly. For example, a T-shirt on Ebay, with a shipping cost within the US of about $5-$8USD, can be charged any where from $15 to $30! A shoulder bag that is of a size less than an A4 sheet was quoted at $40USD! In fact, it seems like a regular pattern these days for sellers to quote shipping costs starting at $20.00. Now, I've lived in america before, and $20 is a lot of money.
Sellers should realize there is a big market internationally, and should not deter potential buyers by quoting outrageous shipping prices!
