Who you ship it with to Canada may decide if you get the sale or not, many people like myself will not buy from anyone who uses UPS to ship items to Canada. This is why.

UPS - Well known for their expensive "brokerage" fees which will jack up the cost of the item shipped to Canada substantially;  these fees are charged in addition to the regular
shipping costs. If the fee has already been paid or the item does not warrant the extra fees they will often leave the item on the front door step not caring about its security. Most of the time the extra "brokerage fees" charged upon delivery will easily be in excess of $30 so they want to deliver it to you in person so they can get their money. I recently paid  and "brokerage fee" of $65.00 on top of the original $35.00 shipping fee on a set of $235.00 fog lights. I won't buy from sellers who use UPS anymore.
You may have to wait around all day for the delivery and not leave the house because if you do that's when they will show up and leave a note on your door to tell you they will do this to you all over again tomorrow. UPS focuses upon the shipper and make things very easy and convenient for them because they are the ones who decide who it is ship with.  They don't really care about the receiver.

USPS/ Canada Post - I like them much better, the brokerage fees are so much more reasonable and they don't take any longer to get the item to you than UPS or FedEx does.
You do not have to stay at home all day either, if your not a home when they arrive you can pick the item up that night at the neighborhood postal outlet store. USPS/ Canada post is preferred due to the reduced cost and less of a pain in the ass factor than UPS.  UPS sucks ass big time!
