Choose an eye catching title.

Make sure your title not only describes your item but also catch a potential buyer's interest.
To do so, you must first describe your item (eg: Stereo Headphones)
In order to make your item appealing, you need to dress up the title; make your title more interesting than just telling the potential buyer what it is.
You'll need to use adjectives describing your item's credibility (eg: Supreme sound quality)

N.B.

Be sure to include the make of your product in the description if it is a known name brand. This announces to the buyer that the product you are selling is from a trusted manufacturer that they may trust or even are committed to.


Describe your item with CLARITY and SIMPLICITY.

When describing a product avoid technical jargon. Use universally know and popular qualities that an average person will recognize. Use short sentences and space out each point to make them easy to identify and quick to read.

Avoid writing too much information or repeating yourself, as the potential buyer may lose interest and move on to another seller.


Use good quality pictures.

When using pictures to show your product, be sure the quality of the picture is high enough that your item is clearly seen.
Avoid cluttering the image with too many objects as this presents an image or disorganisation.


Display all the information the buyer need to know.

By listing the shipping cost, Shipping insurance and Locations you ship to, a potential buyer is more likely to bid on your item because he knows what to expect, and are more likely to bid on your item.
Withholding information from a potential buyer only makes them suspicious of high costs once they have bid on the item.
