However, many Customers have called in to complain about its apparent weaknesses. Here are 7 Tips for effective H2O vac'ing.
1. Where do I dump the water? Dump the water down the toilet. Don't use your sink - it will stain it or clog it.
2. When should I dump the water? Dump the water promptly after you finish vacuuming - if you leave the dirty water in the tank for a week / month, it will stink like an open grave.
3. Why is the suction suddenly weak?
A. The front white tube. Make sure the front white tube is inserted snugly in the blue tank - and not propped up by the bottom of the blue tank's little "button". Many causes of poor suction can result from poor insertion of the white tube.
B. The rear black assembly. Make sure the rear black filter sock is clean, and that itself is fastened onto the white valve housing, and that the white valve housing is inserted snugly in the blue tank - or else poor suction can result.
C. The hoses. Check your hose insertion point with the vacuum motor is secure and snug - or else poor suction can result. Check your hose for cracks - if it is, order a new one from your eBay supplier.
D. The curved handle. Check that the slide to open and close the air pressure is closed.
E. The MIN / MAX slide. Check the motor slide is adjusted to MAX for maximum suction.
