Vampire movies evaluation - How to : eBay Guides

In the last few decades there has been quite a few new Vampire movies and a lot of people are buying the DVDs sometimes without knowing if the film is good. People evaluating the films on Ebay sometimes have no Vampire myth knowledge. 

I would like to help people to choose and evaluate good Vampire movies by giving them a guide on how to evaluate a Vampire movie.

I have a DVD collection of over 200 titles on Vampires and I have started to evaluate them on a one to one basis.

First of all the quality of the movie depends on many things:

a) Is it according to the myth or stories we know about vampires? As per example do vampire walk in daylight? Is their favorite food garlic soup?

b) Is it scary? A funny vampire movie is really not for me ! If it is only gory whitout a good plot it is not a good movie either....

c) Is the story new? or is it the same old story been retold again with a lots of blood...

d) Do we learn or see new things about the Vampire myth? ... Such as a vampire walking in a house without been invited.... Vampire controling a new world order?

e) Is the end beleivable, does it makes any sense? I have seen one where they transport the bad vampires in space! Does the stick really goes through the heart ?

f) Is the vampire sensual, sexual, gay? It is funny to add this but that is the only thing that makes The twilight movie acceptable and so successful !!!!

g) Acting and action.

I will be developping a grid and give points according to the importance of the properties given (A-G) and give each movie the appropriate number of points  and rate them according to this evaluation grid.
