In almost every E-Bay category I've looked at in the past few years, I see the word "VINTAGE"used. Unfortunately 99% of the time it is used incorrectly. Most listings use the word to mean Old, or Antique.
If the item is just OLD, say so. If the item is an true ANTIQUE, say so. Don't us the word VINTAGE, unless you are sellin a bottle of WINE.
An ANTIQUE is generally an item from about the 1850's
VINTAGE, does not mean OLD. VINTAGE does not mean ANTIQUE.
VINTAGE in a French word meaning YEAR OF THE GRAPE, in other word, the Year the grapes were grown, harvested, pressed and bottled.
So please, do not use VINTAGE for any thing other than a good bottle of French, German, Italian or Napa Valley wine.
