First, get the ACRS boot disc: Recovery Boot discs and Recovery sets or the ACRS 6 disc set that includes windows recovery discs.

1. When you receive your items, start by following the data recovery instructions included in the packages. This will allow you to backup all your personal files including music, videos, pictures, office documents and more.

-If your computer stopped booting after performing updates or downloading a massive amount of data, then you may have a hard drive issue. Download the document on the ACRS product page, under downloads: ACRS hard drive test procedure

-If your computer stopped booting due to a virus, see the "Misc Tools" section to run the live antivirus utility.

3. If those items check out, then it may be corruption in the operatings system files, using the ACRS 6 Disc set insert the appropriate Windows recovery disc based on the operating system you have. On the ilovepetras website, download the appropriate recovery document for the disc your using available on the product page, under the download tab.
