I have notice some sellers on ebay selling leatherette/imitation cases on eBay and claiming they are leather. A search of the word leatherette on popular internet search engines will give you the disadvantages of this type of case. Leatherette cases are usually made of paper and are covered with a material that looks like leather. They will not last as long as genuine leather cases and in the end could damage your device.
There are many types of devices where sellers dupe buyers by claiming that the leatherette/imitation case they sell are leather. The models of devices are: Zune, iPod, iPod Nano, Sandisk Sansa, LG VX8500, Sidekick 3, Blackberry 8100, HP IPAQ, Treo 650/700, Zen Micro, Zen Vision V and numerous types of other devices. The prices are usually lower for one reason. They are selling you a paper case not leather.
If you are considering buying a leather case on eBay for any type of eletronic device, make sure the seller guarantees it is leather. If you find this type or have bought this type of case thinking its leather, report the seller to eBay for decieving you.
