)FAKE JERSEYS ALERT - ALERTE AUX MAILLOTS CONTRE-FAITS
You probably noticed how easily you could find a Zidane F.F.F. world cup 2006 jersey on e-bay whereas all stores in the world are out of stock! That's because 99% of them are fakes...
Some tips regarding Adidas jerseys, based on the comparison of officials and fakes:
1- The EMBROIDERY: On ALL official jerseys, the embroidery (adidas logo and team crest) is PERFECT, that is it covers the whole embroided area. You CANNOT see the fabric underneath. Also, inside the jersey, you will NOT FIND a large, roughly cut-out, piece of thick white fabric on which the logo-crest is embroided.
2- The STITCHES: On ALL official jerseys, the stitches are STRAIGHT, the fold is NARROW and the stitching is very SUBTLE.
3- The TAGS: On ALL official jerseys, inside, at hips height, you will find a SMALL TAG, bearing LITTLE SQUARES and CODES, one of them stating the manufacturing date (month/year). Look for this one, as the others vary and are so easy to copy!
4- The SELLER: DO NOT TRUST sellers from THAILAND, BANGKOK, HONG KONG, MALAYSIA, or any Far-East country, to the exception of Japan (also check "SHIPS FROM"). Also, it is rather easy for someone in England, Germany, or USA to buy fakes from a far-east seller and re-sell them as "official" on e-bay. My fake one was shipped for Pas-de-Calais, France!
5- The WORDS: Statements like FINE, EXTRA FINE, A+, AAA, QUALITY POLYESTER etc. are other ways of saying NOT OFFICIAL or FAKE...
6- The PRICE: If it's "BUY IT NOW" for LESS THAN 50$, it is obviously FAKE. But don't be fooled. Sellers know that an official would usually sell for about 120$, so even if it's fake, they might mark it up to let us pretend it is official. Can you believe this? A fake jersey for 100$???
7- ASK SELLERS THE RIGHT QUESTIONS: First off, "is this jersey authentic?" Then, "may i see a picture of the tags inside?" Finally, "who did you get it from?"

Quelques remarques sur les maillots Adidas, basées sur la comparaison entre des officiels et des copies:
1- La BRODERIE: Sur TOUS les maillots officiels, la broderie (le logo adidas et l'écusson de l'équipe) est PARFAITE, c'est-à-dire qu'elle recouvre parfaitement le tissus que l'on ne peut PAS VOIR sous les fils. Aussi, à l'intérieur du maillot, vous ne TROUVEREZ PAS un morceau de tissus blanc et épais drôlement découpé sur lequel le logo-écusson est brodé.
2- Les coutures: Sur TOUS les maillots officiels, les coutures sont DROITES, le repli est ÉTROIT et la couture est très SUBTILE.
3- Les ÉTIQUETTES: Sur TOUS les maillots officiels, à l'intérieur, à la hauteur des hanches, vous trouverez une PETITE ÉTIQUETTE, comportant des PETITS CARRÉS ÉTRANGES et des CODES, l'un d'entre-eux étant la date de fabrication (mois/année). Fiez-vous à cette étiquette, parce que les autres varient et sont si facilement copiables!
4- Les VENDEURS: NE FAITES PAS CONFIANCE aux vendeurs de THAÏLANDE, BANGKOK, HONG-KONG, MALAYSIE, ni des autres pays d'Extrême-Orient, à l'exception du Japon (vérifiez aussi d'où l'envoi est fait). Par contre, il est plutôt facile pour quelqu'un d'Angleterre, d'Allemagne ou des États-Unis d'acheter des contre-façons asiatiques et de les revendre comme "officiel" sur e-bay. Mon maillot contre-fait a été acheté dans le Pas-De-Calais!
5- Les MOTS: Les affirmations comme FINE, EXTRA FINE, A+, AAA, QUALITY POLYESTER etc. sont d'autres manières de dire CONTRE-FAIT.
6- Le PRIX: Si c'est "ACHETEZ IMMÉDIATEMENT" à MOINS DE 25 euros, c'est clairement du FAUX. Mais soyez vigilants. Les vendeurs savent très bien qu'un officiel se vend normalement dans les 80 euros, alors même s'il s'agit d'un faux, ils peuvent facilement augmenter le prix pour nous faire croire qu'il s'agit d'un vrai. Pouvez-vous y croire? Une contre-façon pour 75 euros???
7- POSEZ DES QUESTIONS: D'abord, "ce maillot est-il authentique?" Ensuite, "Puis-je voir une photo des étiquettes?" Finalement, "De qui l'avez-vous acheté?"
